TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified individuals, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment. These data are used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to monitor its correct functioning, and are deleted immediately after processing.

Data voluntarily provided by the user The optional, explicit and voluntary submission of personal data by the user in the registration forms on this website, or by calling any telephone numbers listed on the website, results in the subsequent acquisition of the data provided by the sender, which are necessary for the provision of the requested service or information.

Anonymous or aggregate data Anonymisation is a processing operation aimed at preventing the identification of the data subject. Anonymised data do not fall within the scope of data protection legislation. Aggregate data may derive from personal data provided by the user but are not considered personal data as, as specified, they do not allow the identification of the data subject either directly or indirectly.

COOKIES

Cookies are small text files containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and the user’s device (usually the browser). They are mainly used to make websites work and operate more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the website owners. Cookies can be either session cookies or persistent cookies. Session cookies remain stored on the device for a short period of time and are deleted as soon as the user closes the browser. Their use is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient navigation of the website.

Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain stored on the user’s device until a predetermined expiry date. Since they are not deleted directly when the browser is closed, they allow the choices made by the user on the website to be remembered, as well as information to be collected about the pages of the website visited by the user, the frequency with which the website is visited, and to identify the browsing patterns of users, in order to improve the experience on this website.

Session or persistent cookies can finally be First-party or Third-party cookies, depending on whether the entity that installs the cookies on the user’s device is the same operator of the website the user is visiting (First-party cookies) or a different entity (Third-party cookies).

Cookies used by this website

This website uses both First-party and Third-party cookies, as it makes use of the Google Analytics service, offered by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses “cookies” to collect and analyse information about how users use the websites they visit.

Information about your use of this website (including any additional information such as your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on its servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports and provide other services to website operators, but will not associate the collected IP addresses with any other data in its possession.

For more information about Google Analytics cookies and their use by Google Inc., please consult: Google’s information on cookie use, available at: http://www.google.com/intl/it/policies/technologies/cookies/ and https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cookies-usage and the Google Analytics privacy policy at: http://www.google.com/intl/en/analytics/privacyoverview.html

https://evolutiontex.com/ uses Facebook Pixel, which allows monitoring of conversions that occur on its website as a result of the advertisements it is running on Facebook. If you wish to monitor participation in a particular campaign advertised on Facebook, the cookie notifies Facebook each time a user has participated in a particular campaign on the website. Facebook compares the conversion event with the group of people who were shown the advertisement or who clicked on it, in order to provide the Controller with information that helps it understand the return on investment for its advertising spend. https://evolutiontex.com/ does not use this cookie for profiling purposes, but solely for statistical purposes. The Facebook Pixel privacy policy is available at: https://www.facebook.com/help/cookies/

The cookies used can be identified via the website http://www.cookie-checker.com/. This website also uses session cookies, i.e. cookies that are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed. Their use is strictly limited.
